Happy Friday Eve.
Just a quick reminder... Tonight is progression night; and I really want to kill some new stuff. I know we've had problems on the last two fights; but I'm confident that starting fresh on Gunship will really give us a good edge.
We had a good signup on Tuesday, and I'm about to go approve raiders for tonight.
On a side happy/sad note... Scott won't be raiding on Thursdays with us for a while, because he and his wife are doing birthing classes. Congratulations Scott and wifey! Can't wait to see a new Jackhammer wearing a baby Horde onesie.
Lastly... I know I've mentioned this, but don't just log on to raid guys. We have a ton of fun doing some PvP at night (or during the day). If you haven't PvP'ed with us... give it a shot; I'm sure you'll be back for more.

Upcoming nerf
So... just as in WoTLK... we are getting a wide-raid nerf. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not, but at this point we'll take it.
About last night... I'm still concerned with certain aspects of the raid. Our DPS was there as well as healing. However, some of the mechanics are just not falling into line. At this point in our progression, we shouldn't be wiping on Gunship (or whatever it's called) and should be on Deathwing.
I'm hoping this nerf will get us through our troubled areas. It's important that everyone really starts tweaking their gear. I saw a few times where people weren't food buffed or flasked. There's no excuse for it. We have a guild bank filled with gold, food and flasks. If theres something you don't have... ask!

Yes Deathwing, there is a Santa Claus….
About last night... We were missing a couple of our regulars; and had to swap people around... This also gave us a late start. I know it wasn't a real smooth run, but we did manage to get four bosses down. Not great, and really not many upgrades for people.
Regardless, we managed to pull through the best we could and are that much closer to a full clear.
I'd like to try and continue on Friday (tomorrow) night at 8:30. If you can, please sign up... If there's no way you can; please let me know.

Patch 4.3 – On live realms this week
We will soon be raiding in a new area, with new bosses and mechanics.
Video of some of theses new fights are already available since they were part of the PTR. Some of them looks really easy, but will probably be changed for a live patch.
Tomorrow, ton of guilds will jump in this new raid and new guides will probably be made at the same time.
Since we raid on Wednesday we should be able to have a preview of the strategy before-hand. We should use this fact to our advantage to have a nice 1st progression night.
I know we can do this ! Go AJ go!

Goodbye Mr. Dragon… err.. Mr. Elemental….
Last night we finally cleared the last boss of the current content. Although we started off really rough... And when I mean really rough... I mean really rough. But, once we got into our grove; it only took 2-3 attempts to finally down Ragnaros.
Everyone did a fantastic job, and it was very fulfilling to put another notch on the guild belt.
I've already been approached about the 'next steps' and so here is my official response. Most of us still need gear and the tier pieces. Usually after clearing content, people slack off. However, this is the time to get prepared for the next level of content (Deathwing). I do believe that some of the heroic modes are very doable; so we will be approaching them with caution.
I want everyone to have their tier set before the next patch.
Again, great job everyone! I'm proud of you all!

Patch 4.3 is now on the PTR !
So the patch 4.3 that will bring us Deathwing is now on the PTR, and the spell changes have been data mined.
Take note that those are not the official changes.

Open for business
The main structure of the site is ready and live. I know the format is a bit different, and much 'friendlier'. As time goes on, I'll update accordingly. For now, the design will work and at least give guildies a place to call home and find out the information needed.
I encourage you to register, and comment on posts. Also... officers... I strongly urge you to register and create NEW posts.
As mentioned yesterday... The overall nerf was very noticeable. I know many of you thought it was almost too easy, but let's remember one thing. We've been doing this for two-months now and not only has our skill level gone up (knowing the fights), but also our gear. When you combine these three things; it makes for a very smooth raid.
With that said, I'd really like to start trying some heroics after Rag is down. Or, we can start bringing alts once in a while; once you are geared up. Remember, our goal right now is to gear up for the upcoming Deathwing raid!
