D3 incoming!
So, Diablo III comes out tomorrow... Who is planning on playing? I'd like for all of us to play together; even though I'm still a bit uncertain on the multiplayer aspects... However, killing stuff together is fun.

Well hello!
Hey all! Just wanted to make a quick post.... I'm not dead. I know I mentioned this a few weeks ago, but my sister-in-law and nephew are in town until the weekend; so you won't see me around much at all.
As far as raiding is concerned... I'm still game. I'll sign up for next week, but we do need to make some important decisions.
Are we going to raid in Pandabearland? I'm not sure... I figured I'd give it a shot, but after playing the beta; I'm less than thrilled... I mean, heck... I've been playing WoW for 6-years now.
Diablo. It's fun and good. I'd love to see you guys snag this when it comes out; and we can hang out together and just mindlessly kill stuff.

We're still alive...
I haven't forgotten about the website, no. Just a bit lazy! Hope everyone has been faring well, so here's a quick update on things. First, I've been playing Diablo III and absolutely LOVE it! I'd love to try the multiplayer aspects sometime this week.
Raiding. We are still raiding, and would like some feedback on heroics. Do we continue working on heroics? The signups this week seem thin; and I know a lot of people are on spring break.... We'll talk about this tomorrow night during raid times.
It really seems like we have regular mode on farm; so the next step would be heroics.... but... does anyone really care enough?
On the exhale... Mists of Pandaria... I've played the beta a bit; and am minimally interested. At this point; I'm not sure where we (as a guild) are headed. Well, me personally. I've played since the first day of vanilla; and this expansion does not interest me at all. That's not saying I'm going to quit; but... I'm not sure if I can do another expansion. To me, it seems as though each expansion loses more and more flavor and Blizzard is putting minimal effort into each one. I mean, Burning Crusade was amazing... but it went down from there.
Regardless, I'm sure I"ll play it for a bit... I'll check out the raiding scene and see if it interests me. Then, we'll discuss the future of AJ. (scary, I know)
AJ will always live though; and I'm hoping the multiplayer is strong in D3.

Ghosts!
This past week has been really scary... In the middle of a raid, a certain baddie mage popped onto WoW... None other than Rusty himself! Looks like him and Brandon are back temporarily... I'm hoping they stay permanently, but time will tell.
On other news... Dragon Soul is still progressing; even after downing Madness. Last night we downed a Heroic Morchok quite easily and breezed through the rest of the raid and stopped on Spine.
Lastly, I know next week a few people are going to be out. We've had a lot of extras sign up the last couple of weeks, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Anyway, have a great hump day. Be sure to say 'hey' to Rusty and Brandon and make them feel bad if they try to leave.

We beat the World of Warcraft… again.
Last week we did finally clear Dragon Soul (hooray). I'm still waiting on some screen shots to post. Also, many people did not sign up for raids this week. Whats up?
Grats to Alien Jackhammer for clearing yet another full expansion. We may have not done it faster than everyone else, but I can say that not many guilds have cleared as MUCH as we have over the years.

Believe.
Not only is this a slogan that the city of Baltimore used for a while to deter crime (worth Googling)... but it's also a good ideology for us to freakin' clear Dragon Soul. This week we extended the raid lock, and made a full night devoted to Madness. We were very close, but just a tad short on DPS; even with the extra 5% nerf.
Regardless, we opened the raid lock and stomped through the first 6 bosses easily. We will lock the raid again, and start at Spine on Tuesday. We also got some great upgrades on Thursday, so I'm thinking this could push us over the top!

Spine of Getonmyfreakingnerves
Well, we finally got this stupid 'boss' done. After so many raider changes; it seems we have a nice full group again with some fantastic people. We also had some great attempts on Deathwing himself; but came up a little short at the end. I'm sure next week after the nerf; we will have no problems downing him.

Also... I'm going to be doing some PvP tonight (Friday). Let's do it up!

Time to make it rain!
Hope everyone had a good extended weekend, and you paid homage to past presidents and bought some furniture.... With that said, thesis going to be a good week for raiding. I'm confident that we will finally make some serious progression.
It's been a real struggle with the roster changes, and really do appreciate everyone who has played a role and stuck around.
One small issue... melee... As of now, we really only have one solid melee (Josh) and really need another. We do have some new people and am excited seeing them sign up and willing to raid. The issue is, however, is that they are priest(s) and ranged. And their alts are ranged as well. We do have a new paladin; and I'm hoping he signs up...
I'm going to reaching out to the group this week and see if we have another melee that wants to regularly raid.

Happy Friday Eve.
Just a quick reminder... Tonight is progression night; and I really want to kill some new stuff. I know we've had problems on the last two fights; but I'm confident that starting fresh on Gunship will really give us a good edge.
We had a good signup on Tuesday, and I'm about to go approve raiders for tonight.
On a side happy/sad note... Scott won't be raiding on Thursdays with us for a while, because he and his wife are doing birthing classes. Congratulations Scott and wifey! Can't wait to see a new Jackhammer wearing a baby Horde onesie.
Lastly... I know I've mentioned this, but don't just log on to raid guys. We have a ton of fun doing some PvP at night (or during the day). If you haven't PvP'ed with us... give it a shot; I'm sure you'll be back for more.
