Old hag…
Well, we were able to easily down Hagara Stormbinder, but had some difficulty with Ultraxion. It's not a hard fight; it just required everyone to be perfect.
Good job, nonetheless... I'm confident we will have another notch in our Dragon Soul belt.

Fun run last night everyone. We will down Ultra this week. The mechanic seems easy but obviously we just have to be on our game. See everyone tomorrow night.
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Good job yesterday but I have to bring up some points (not fun points).
On Ultraxion, we did not get the the part where the damage gets really intense. The 3 buffs on the healers helps, but still the damage near the end gets really high.
That is why we can’t have one person dead at any point, even with a BRez, if the healer had a buff it’s over.
Also I saw that our DPS was not that high, an other reason why we can’t afford a death.
The cooldown clicking is a really simple mechanic and we should not die to things like that.
I heard many excuses yesterday, but really I got some bad timings too (get out of fading light in the mid cast of hour) and still managed to get out in time.
I suggest to everyone to try and do the LFR this week for the 2d part of Dragon Soul. From what I heard, he does not one shot, so that’s a good time to practice your timing.
See you all tomorrow. I love you all,
Zotak

Question… doing LFR won’t lock you into a raid?
December 6th, 2011 - 15:40
LFR is like doing a random heroic, doesn’t save you to anything. but you can only get 1 piece of loot per boss, per week while in a LFR, so its only really worth doing once and hope you’re lucky

No Shane it does not. LFR and regular 397 run are two separate raids and has no impact on each other. LFR if you roll on loot will lock you from rolling on that boss again in another LFR. Hope this answers your question, if not let me know if I misunderstood what you were asking.
